OutLoud

Community Guidelines

Effective 19 September 2026

OutLoud is a place where people show up for their goals and for each other. Most of what you will see here is someone doing a small, hard thing and someone else saying "nice." Keep it that way. These rules exist so that showing up stays safe, honest and kind.

Be encouraging

Reactions, comments and nudges are for lifting people up. Tease your friends if they like it; do not tease strangers. If someone missed a day, the right response is "tomorrow," not "told you so." Cruelty, mockery and pile-ons will get you removed.

Be honest

Streaks only mean something if they are real. Do not backdate check-ins, reuse old photos as proof, run multiple accounts, or use tricks to stretch a day. We remove what is fake, and repeated cheating costs the account.

Be respectful

No harassment, threats, hate speech or slurs about race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, body, age or anything else. No sexual content, no nudity in proof photos, no graphic violence. No contacting someone who has blocked you, on OutLoud or anywhere else.

Be careful with bodies and minds

Goals about food, exercise, weight, sleep and mood are welcome. Content that promotes eating disorders, self-harm, extreme restriction, dangerous challenges or drug use is not. If you see someone struggling, react with care and report it as Self-harm. We look at those reports first, and we respond with care, not punishment.

Be a real person

One account per human. Pretending to be someone else, running bots, or buying followers and reactions is grounds for removal. Businesses and coaches are welcome as themselves, but no spam, no unsolicited promotion and no recruiting for schemes.

Respect privacy

Only share photos of other people if they would be fine with it. Do not post addresses, phone numbers or private information, yours or anyone else's. What is shared in a private group stays in that group: screenshotting someone's private check-in to share it elsewhere is a violation.

Keep it legal

No content that breaks the law where you are or where we are: no illegal goods, no copyright infringement, no intellectual property theft.

Age

You must be at least 16 to use OutLoud. If we learn an account belongs to someone younger, we remove it.

How enforcement works

Photos and text are checked automatically, and people review every report. First violations usually mean the content is removed. Repeated or severe violations, such as harassment, hate or sexual content, mean suspension and then a permanent ban. If you think we got a decision wrong, email spreaditt.app@gmail.com and we will look at it again.

Reporting

You can report any post or comment from its ⋯ menu, and any person from their profile, under More. Reports are anonymous. We review them within 24 hours, and safety reports first. Reporting something that turns out not to break a rule is never a problem; reporting repeatedly in bad faith is.

That is it. Show up, be decent, and celebrate other people's small wins.
